1. Faith and Family Programming For Tuesday January 19 Blue Knights, Little Flowers, Confirmation Class and Pillars of the Faith all meet at 6:30PM
2. Liturgical Ministers Meeting February 2, 2016 Remembering what a great honor and privilege it is to be able to be a minister at the Most Holy Mass, I invite all Eucharistic Ministers, Lectors, Ushers, Choir Members, etc. to our annual Evening of Appreciation and Formation for Liturgical Ministers. Dr. Randal Rosenberg, a professor at SLU, will be our presenter.
3. Everyone Needs to Forgive Somebody Classes I hope everyone has enjoyed the book “Everyone Needs to Forgive Someone” by Alan Hunt that we passed out at Christmas. Please mark your calendar now to attend a series of group discussions based on the book. Evening Sessions will be Tuesday Nights from 8PM-9PM (Tuesday February 16 to Tuesday March 22) and Morning Session will be Wednesday Mornings 9AM-10AM (Wednesday February 17 to Wednesday February 21). If you wish to participate please read chapter 1&2 before the first class. All classes will take place in the rectory.
4. Roses For Life Campaign “The care of human life and happiness, and not their destruction, is the first and only object of good government.” – Thomas Jefferson. Next weekend the Knights of Columbus will be at Church asking you to write your name and address on a small card that is attached to a small rose. These roses will once again be sent to our political leaders reminding them of their greatest obligation.
5. Fish Fry Season What did the fish say when he posted bail? "I'm off the hook!" Remember that our parish fish fries are way better than my bad fish jokes. Our first Fish Fry will be January 29,2016 from 4:30PM -7:0O PM
6. Beyond Sunday Over the last few months you have heard about Beyond Sunday Capital Campaign to help improve Catholic Education by primarily by creating more scholarships for middle income families. Please prayerfully consider giving to this campaign.
7. Donut Sunday This Sunday is donut Sunday. Please join us after the 8AM Mass and the 10:30AM Mass for Coffee and Donuts.
8. January Theology on Tap For Young Adults January Theology on Tap will feature Dr. Ed Hogan speaking on "A Just Mercy: A Catholic Approach to the Death Penalty." This event will be held on January 12th, 2016 at 7 pm at Kirkwood Station Brewing Co. We would love for you to join us and bring a friend!
9. Help needed! The parish is need of someone to step forward and take charge of our parish flea market. Please contact Trish in the parish office if you are interested.
10. Glory Stories We are looking for people to share what they love about Epiphany on our parish website. Please consider answering the following four questions: 1) Who are you? 2) How long have you been a member of Epiphany? 3) What do you like about Epiphany? 4) Where have you seen God at Epiphany?
